Elastic Band is a student-led ensemble formed in November 2024 by musicians from the Brooks Music Program.
The group built a local following in 2025 through performances across the qathet region, including the Brooks Graduation Ceremony, Rockin’ the Beach, Lund Daze, the Texada Blues & Roots Festival, and at the Wildwood Pub alongside Current Collective.
Featuring drums, bass, piano, vocals, guitar, and horns, Elastic Band stretches across genres through original arrangements, and with challenging and eclectic music – hence their name.
They’re excited for the 2026 season of performing and sharing their sound with the community!
